Megan Kuder

Megan Kuder is a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, and Certified Professional Counseling Supervisor, dedicated to providing effective counseling and supervision services. With a deep commitment to her Christian faith, Megan's practice focuses on primarily supporting women and couples as they navigate through various challenges, including: anxiety, depression, perinatal/postpartum issues, trauma, grief, Christian spiritual formation issues and life transitions. Her short and simplified life mission is, “to be free, so I can help others get free.” Expanded further, she seeks to be healthy in body, soul and spirit so that she can help foster that same wholeness and freedom in others through her work as a counselor, speaker and supervisor of other therapists.

Throughout her career, Megan has developed a reputation for her expertise in helping individuals and couples find a sense of freedom, hope, and courage, empowering them to confidently embrace their lives. Her counseling approach is built on a foundation of empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to see her clients flourish emotionally, spiritually and mentally. Her mission is carried out in being rooted through Scripture, specifically Romans 12:1-2 and Isaiah 61:1-3. These scriptures are guideposts to her, keeping the way she conducts therapy rooted in Scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit through empirically based counseling modalities. She utilizes a combination of therapy techniques that she has gained specialized training in over the past decade of practice, stemming from well researched and empirically based therapy models including: Restoration Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and body work to help heal from trauma. Clients remark that Megan is both empathetic and direct, a great combination for healing and change.

Megan's commitment to her clients is mirrored in her personal life as well. She is married to her husband, David, who has been a source of support and encouragement for over a decade of life. Together, they have the honor of sharing the joy of parenthood, raising two miracle “rainbow” children alongside a rich community of family and friends. Outside of her counseling practice, Megan enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, hiking in the great outdoors, reading a good book and playing tennis!

Driven by her passion for helping others and guided by her Christian faith, Megan Kuder continues to make a positive impact on the lives of many individuals and couples seeking healing, growth, and transformation. Her dedication to her profession and her loving family and community of friends is a testament to her values and the compassion she brings to every aspect of her life.
